October half term is always one of the most fun with so many themed events running! Whether you’re looking for Halloween days out or Autumnal fun I have you covered! From free events to big days out you will find plenty of ideas to fill the week.
Halloween, Pumpkins and October Half Term
Here’s a roundup of some of the best things during October half term and Halloween in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and surrounding areas. Keep checking back as I have more to add to this list.
Where to PYO Pumpkins in Buckinghamshire
PYO Pumpkin fields have become really popular, with more popping up every year. Have a look through this guide to find one to visit with your little ones this year. My tip for you is to go earlier rather than later. When you go early you’ll have a huge choice of pumpkins and get some great photos. If you leave it to go closer to Halloween then you’ll likely be faced with fairly sparse looking fields and barns. Pumpkins last for ages if stored properly and will easily last for at least a month.
Pumpkins at The Patch MK
We visited The Patch MK last week for their pre-launch event and had the best time! Not only do they have an enormous pumpkin field full of every shape, size and colour pumpkin you can think of, but there’s also loads of fun play areas for your little ones. Plus it’s an Instagrammers dream with some amazing photo scenes including a pumpkin house!
Farmer Paul’s Pumpkins
We kicked off October with our first pumpkin haul today! As it was chucking it down so we headed to Farmer Paul’s Pumpkins in Aylesbury since all of their pumpkins are undercover in ‘The Pumpkin Barn’. They have absolutely loads to choose from, all shapes and sizes and plenty of great spots for photos.
