Burnham Beeches is one of my favourite buggy friendly walks. The ancient woodlands are beautiful and there’s plenty to keep little ones entertained along the way too. Some of the trees at Burnham Beeches are several hundred years old!
WOW! This place is amazing! We had the best time here and loved it so much we went twice in one week! There is so much to do for children of every age including a farm, splash park, loads of playgrounds, jumping pillows, a miniature railway, a dinosaur trail and more. The whole park is very scenic and is centred around a big lake in the middle.
As more places are starting to open up I thought it would be useful to share some ideas for places to visit this August in Bucks and surrounding areas.
Ray Mill Island in Maidenhead was such a great discovery at the weekend and one we had no idea was there! The island is a great place to spend an afternoon, enjoy a picnic and let your little ones play and make new friends with the guinea pigs and birds.
The Savill Garden features some of the best ornamental gardens and exotic woodlands in the UK and has recently reopened it’s gates. Located within Windsor Great Park it is a beautiful place to explore with your little ones.
