Burnham Beeches is one of my favourite buggy friendly walks. The ancient woodlands are beautiful and there’s plenty to keep little ones entertained along the way too. Some of the trees at Burnham Beeches are several hundred years old!
Wellington Country Park
WOW! This place is amazing! We had the best time at Wellington Country Park and loved it so much we went twice in one week! There is so much to do for children of every age including a farm, splash park, loads of playgrounds, jumping pillows, a miniature railway, a dinosaur trail and more. The whole park is very scenic and is centred around a big lake in the middle.
Ray Mill Island
Ray Mill Island in Maidenhead was such a great discovery at the weekend and one we had no idea was there! The island is a great place to spend an afternoon, enjoy a picnic and let your little ones play and make new friends with the guinea pigs and birds.
Coffee, Cake and Alpacas
Who knew there were fields full of alpacas in Great Missenden? There is a lovely short walk you can take through the alpaca fields which you can combine with cake and coffee at Peterley Manor Farm for the perfect afternoon!
Aldenham Country Park
Aldenham Country Park in Elstree has so many activities to enjoy with your little ones. Set in 100 acres of countryside you can enjoy scenic walks, playgrounds, ride Pony’s, explore Winnie The Pooh’s home in 100 Aker Woods and meet the animals on the farm.
Wildflower meadow in Frieth
If you’re ever having a bad day and need cheering up, then head for the wildflower meadow in Frieth. There are wildflowers as far as your eye can see and it’s such a beautiful sight. The 34 acre meadow is filled with colourful poppies, cornflowers and golden wattle.
The Savill Garden
The Savill Garden features some of the best ornamental gardens and exotic woodlands in the UK and has recently reopened it’s gates. Located within Windsor Great Park it is a beautiful place to explore with your little ones.
Grey’s Court
This was our first visit to Grey’s Court and even though a number of areas were closed we enjoyed a lovely few hours there and found it very toddler friendly. Anywhere with baby lambs and calves gets her vote of approval and I really enjoyed the beautiful views and how peaceful and quiet it was.
