Wow there are a lot of events on this Easter! I’ve put together a list of fun things to do with the kids this Easter. The list covers events on in Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire and Surrey. I’ve included everything from Easter egg trails and chocolate workshops to Easter pantos!

FREE Biscuit Decorating Workshop and Meeting the Easter Bunny in High Wycombe
Visitors to High Wycombe are in for a treat this Easter weekend as The Easter Bunny hops into town!
Bethany Bunny will hoping along the high street between 11am – 4pm on both Friday 15th and Saturday 16th April and she can not wait to meet you and your little ones.
PLUS there will be a FREE biscuit decorating workshop for children to enjoy. This is a pre- bookable experience, spaces are limited and booking essential.

FREE Easter Fun at Eden Shopping Centre
11th – 24th April
There are loads of activities taking place for the whole family with kids workshops and the History of Video Games experience. The workshops include making fairy doors, burrowing bunny plant pots and chick hatching cupcakes.

FREE Litter Bugs Trail at Black Park Country Park
29th March to 24th April
Discover giant bugs made of litter around Black Park! Come along with your family and friends to our free trail. Learn all about how to reduce, reuse, recycle and most importantly, why not to drop litter. Don’t be a litterbug!
The self-led trail will be around Black Park during usual car park opening hours, so you can turn up at any point when we’re open! There will be directional signs out or you can refer to the map available to download very soon! All creatures can be spotted around the lake.

FREE ENTRY to Good Friday Easter Event at Sandy Lane Farm
15th April – 10am – 4.30pm
Meet the little piglets at Sandy Lane Farm, have a wander around the market garden and enjoy drinks and light refreshments in the farmyard. There will also be a mini Easter trail for the little ones on a short route around the market garden.

FREE Easter Egg Hunt at Burnham Beeches Hotel

FREE Burrowing Bunnies Easter Trail at Westgate Oxford
8th – 24th April
The Easter bunny will be hopping into Westgate Oxford to leave a very special trail around the centre! There will be five super-cute Burrowing Bunnies to find – including a giant bunny in Leiden Square – and a sweet treat if you spot them all.

Easter Egg Hunt (8th – 24th) – search for giant eggs hidden around IKEA Reading. No registration required.

Easter at Wild Raven Farm Shop
Tuesday to Sunday until 22nd April
Pop along to the farm shop and barn stores this week for lots of Easter fun! There is a free Easter egg hunt for little ones and a drawing activity to keep then entertained whilst you browse the fantastic indie shops and grab a coffee in the tea room.
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE
Easter at Whipsnade (including a chance to meet Bluey!)
2nd – 24th April
Go on a giant Easter egg hunt around the park. Solve clues as you go, and all children who complete the trail will receive a special Whipsnade sticker or a special prize for golden eggs.
On 9-12 April you’ll also have the chance to meet Bluey, or her younger sister Bingo.
Peter Rabbit™ Easter Breakfast at Dobbies Garden Centre
14th – 18th April
Hop along for a tasty breakfast before the little ones have fun participating in our Peter Rabbit™ activities. Plus, every child will receive a Peter Rabbit™ gift to take home and enjoy. This event is suited to families with children aged between 1 and 10 years old.

Go on an Easter Egg Hunt with National Trust
8th – 25th April (dates vary slightly by estate, so check on the estates website before going)
Visit your local National Trust estate for Easter adventures in nature trails. There’ll be lots of fun for you and your family on your trail as you do your nature-inspired activities. Complete the trail (£3) and collect your Rainforest Alliance chocolate egg.

The Wizard of Oz Easter Panto at Wycombe Swan
20th April
I don’t think I’ve ever heard of an Easter panto before but here you go! It’s staring Bobby Davro and Stevi Ritchie (from X Factor). Pantos are a brilliant show to take little ones too as they can make plenty of noise!
Spring Babies Easter Event at Green Dragon Eco Farm
9th – 24th April (Easter Bunny 15th – 18th)
As well as all the usual fun at the farm you can meet the Spring babies, bottle feed the lambs and feed the chicks! They also have lots of arts & crafts and special character appearances including Mary Poppins, the Easter Bunny and Rapunzel.

9th – 24th April
Join an egg hunt around the farm as well as loads of animal activities including bottle feeding kid goats, collecting chicken eggs, and giving the bunnies a stroke! Plus all the usual indoor and outdoor fun at Odds Farm.

Easter Fun and Egg Hunt at Milton Keynes Museum
15th – 18th April
Go on an egg hunt around the museum and grounds whilst enjoying a wonderful tour of the history hub along the way.

Build a Bunny at Frosts Garden Centre
19th – 22nd April
Your little ones can build their very own bunny friend in our Build a Bunny workshop!

Chocolate Egg Decorating at Frosts Garden Centre
4th – 14th April (excluding weekends)
Each child will receive their very own chocolate Easter egg to decorate with sweeties. Finished off with a glass of squash and storytime with a meet & greet with the Easter Bunny!

Easter Bunny Steam Train at Chinnor and Princes Risborough Rail
15th, 17th, 18th April
As you travel between Chinnor and Princes Risborough or vice versa, the Easter Bunnies will hop between carriages spreading happiness to the little ones onboard.
And while seeing the Easter Bunny always brings a smile, it’s the special surprises that really makes the little ones happy. One of our bunnies will be handing out free colouring books and crayons together with a mini sweet-treat for all 3-8 year olds. Whilst at Chinnor station on Friday, Sunday & Monday (15, 17 & 18 April) there is an optional Easter Egg hunt for a modest £2 entry fee, and of course everyone who wins will receive a chocolate egg…

Peppa Pig at Buckinghamshire Railway Centre
15th April
Peppa will be here and appearing at intervals throughout the day. Your day ticket includes full entry to our steam railway, so you can enjoy all the usual fun all around our site: unlimited steam train rides and teacup rides, and you can take a trip on the miniature trains for a small fee of £1.20 per person (under 3s are free). The Railway Museum, Visitor Centre, cafe and shop will all be open for you to visit!

Easter Transport Festival at Buckinghamshire Railway Centre
17th – 18th April
You will be able to ride full and miniature steam trains, see working fire engines, vintage vehicles, a children’s egg hunt and the railway museum.

Easter Weekend at Chiltern Open Air Museum
15th – 18th April
Explore the historic buildings and learn about some Easter traditions, take part in the Easter trail and see their baby lambs. There’s also a little adventure playground and some lovely woodland walks, which at this time of year are full of bluebells.

Cracking Easter Family Fun at Bletchley Park
5th – 22nd April (5th, 6th and 7th and then daily from 13th)
Go on an Easter egg hunt around Bletchley Park, each egg has a secret code, can you work out the hidden word? There’s a small prize to collect if you can. The trail has lots of puzzles and other activities too! Trails are free to collect from admissions and are suitable for all ages.

Easter Market and Family Fun Day in Brill
16th April
20-25 market stalls selling a selection of sweet and savoury treats, crafts, wines, beers, gifts and a deli. There will be an Easter egg hunt, face painting and a bouncy castle and more for the kids.

BERKSHIRE
Easter Trail at Tumblestone Hollow
9th – 24th April
I absolutely the love the themed festivals at Tumblestone Hollow, they make such an incredible effort on the decorations. The bonus of visiting during one of their festivals is you get to enjoy both the adventure playground and a brilliant themed trail around the beautiful gardens of Stonor Park. Quest Family Fest at Norden Farm
12th – 22nd April
Quest is a fun packed fortnight of new experiences for children and families. Including family friendly shows, films and activity clubs.
You will collect stamps throughout the festival when you attend a film, show or activity club. Plus bonus stamps available at the Explore Taster Workshops Day (with over 40 workshops), in the Cafe Bar and Gallery. The workshops include things like chocolate workshops, wand making, circus skills and magic.
Stamps can earn you stickers, chocolate, a drinks for the Cafe Bar and even free film tickets.
Easter at Wellington Country Park

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Jakes Playworld
16th & 17th April
The session includes both the soft play and farm, breakfast with the Easter Bunny, trail, biscuit decorating and an Easter egg.

Join for a morning full of fun and games. Activities include making a cuddly bunny to take home, an Easter bonnet parade, rhyme and story time and playing in the soft play.

Come and join the fun around the village with the promise of the fluffy tail Binfield Bunny to spot on the trail. There will be 30+ eggs to find around the village, simply buy a map for £3 from either Crema Coffee Shop, Binfield Village Stores or Foxes Den Community Cafe, have some fun. There are cafes, shops and playgrounds en-route.
OXFORDSHIRE
Easter Entertainment at Blenheim Palace
15th – 18th April
Visit Blenheim Palace and take part in our Easter Egg hunt and win a Hotel Chocolat Treat. We also have a whole host of fun activities for the kids including circus skills, balloon modelling, bubble performances, Punch and Judy, bungee trampolines and special appearances from the Easter Bunny throughout the weekend.
They are also going to be running chocolate workshops with Hotel Chocolat at an additional charge – registration coming soon.

Easter Holiday Fun at Millets Farm

The Big Easter Bunny Hunt at Waterperry Gardens

I’ve heard amazing things about the themed trails at Bunkers Hill Garden Shop and they are very affordable at only £2 per child. There are eggs with letters hidden around the nursery, which your little ones have to unscramble to work out the eggstrodinary word and claim their prize.
17th – 18th April
Oxfordshire’s leading Country Show returns to it’s original date over Easter Weekend. Enjoy a wide range of street foods and drink, find a range of local and national food and drink producers in the Food Glorious Food section and enjoy lots of fun entertainment throughout the day. There will also be children’s entertainment making a great family day.

The Golden Goose Hunt at Ashridge Estate
10th – 22nd April
Search the candy-covered grounds of Ashridge House this Easter. Hunt for the illusive Golden Eggs and unscramble their letters to find out where the Golden Goose is hiding. They always put a lot of effort into the trails at Ashridge and they look brilliant! As well as the trail there are other themed activities going on for the kids.

Great Easter Egg Hunt at Cassiobury Farm and Fishery
17th – 18th April
The farm only run a few open days a year so this is a great opportunity to visit. They have loads of rare breed farm animals as well as a collection of exotic animals including zebra’s, Galapagos tortoise, lemurs, Tararin monkeys, flamingos to name a few.
They are running a Great Easter Egg Hunt with golden eggs hidden amongst the animals. Once the children have completed the trail they’ll visit the Easter Bunny’s chocolate cave for treats! There will also be face painting, mini tractor rides, pedalos, animals encounters, a bouncy castle and lots more.

Easter Eggstravaganza at Willows Activity Farm

Hobbledown have loads of fun activities lined up including a Hunt for the Golden Dragon Egg. Plus themed games, Dragon story time, baby lambs, zorbs and a hunt to find buried wooden eggs.
We love Hobbledown for it’s outdoor and indoor play areas. They’ve recently upgraded the indoor play areas and they look incredible!
