We kicked off October with our first pumpkin haul today! As it was chucking it down so we headed to Farmer Paul’s Pumpkins in Aylesbury since all of their pumpkins are undercover in ‘The Pumpkin Barn’. They have absolutely loads to choose from, all shapes and sizes and plenty of great spots for photos.
Pumpkins, Pumpkins and more Pumpkins!
They have been growing pumpkins on their farm in Aylesbury for the past 9 years, so there isn’t much they don’t know about pumpkins! They specialise in Giant Pumpkins as well as a large selection of the classic orange jack-o-lantern. They also have a huge variety of unusual gourds and funky pumpkins in many different shapes and sizes.
The pumpkins are priced according to size and start from as little as 50p.

They’ve created some great displays for you to take photos in front of, including giant pumpkin hay bales, a spooky witches house, giant spiders and mountains of funky pumpkins.
The wheelbarrow in these pictures is our own but they have kids ones there for you to use.
They are open from October 3rd.

Best bits: It’s all undercover so perfect for a rainy day and they have so much choice. They’ve done a great job with the photo displays as well.
Worst bits: If you’re wanting to actually go pick your pumpkin from the field then this isn’t for you.
Cost: Pumpkins are priced according to size and start from just 50p. There’s no cost to visit.
Tickets: No ticket or booking required, just turn up.
Pram friendly: Yes, although I doubt you’d need one as it’s only small and you can park right outside
Bike & scooter friendly: No
Social Distancing: There was only 1 other person there when we visited (on 4th Oct), but I imagine the closer you get to Halloween the busier it will get. They’ve got a one way system in place in The Pumpkin Barn.
Location & parking: Weedon Hill Farm off the Buckingham Road, just outside Aylesbury
