Chobham Adventure Farm is all about the ADVENTURE! Whilst they do have a animal barn for us the main attractions were the play zones. They have two large adventure playgrounds for different ages, two giant jumping pillows (again for different ages) and a huge sandpit.
Fun on the Farm at Odds Farm
We had such an amazing time at Odds Farm this week. We’ve been a couple of times before but this is the first time that she’s been at the right age (she is just over 2) to absolutely LOVE it! There is so much to do at Odds Farm and they have a great mix of both animal experiences and play areas.
Ray Mill Island
Ray Mill Island in Maidenhead was such a great discovery at the weekend and one we had no idea was there! The island is a great place to spend an afternoon, enjoy a picnic and let your little ones play and make new friends with the guinea pigs and birds.
Coffee, Cake and Alpacas
Who knew there were fields full of alpacas in Great Missenden? There is a lovely short walk you can take through the alpaca fields which you can combine with cake and coffee at Peterley Manor Farm for the perfect afternoon!
Aldenham Country Park
Aldenham Country Park in Elstree has so many activities to enjoy with your little ones. Set in 100 acres of countryside you can enjoy scenic walks, playgrounds,ย ride Pony’s, explore Winnie The Pooh’s home in 100 Aker Woods and meet the animals on the farm.
Wildflower meadow in Frieth
If you’re ever having a bad day and need cheering up, then head for the wildflower meadow in Frieth. There are wildflowers as far as your eye can see and it’s such a beautiful sight.ย The 34 acre meadow is filled with colourful poppies, cornflowers and golden wattle.
The Savill Garden
The Savill Garden features some of the best ornamental gardens and exotic woodlands in the UK and has recently reopened it’s gates. Located within Windsor Great Park it is a beautiful place to explore with your little ones.
Grey’s Court
This was our first visit to Grey’s Court and even though a number of areas were closed we enjoyed a lovely few hours there and found it very toddler friendly. Anywhereย with baby lambs and calves gets her vote of approval and I really enjoyed the beautiful views and how peaceful and quiet it was.
Private Soft Play
I’m sure most parents have really missed being able to pop down to their local soft play when the rain comes during lockdown! If your house is anything like mine it’s probably starting to resemble a soft play with every toy in the house out whilst trying to entertain your little one. The great news is that some of the smaller soft play cafes have started to open up again and offer private soft play sessions for families. We look at both Little Walkers Children’s Cafe and Bojangles Creative Cafe.
Copas Farms PYO ๐๐
We’ve made several visits to Copas Farms PYO in Cookham this year. It’s one of our go-to days out for when the sun is shining and we haven’t got anything else booked. We have had mixed experiences with it recently, so would try to avoid peak times on our next visit.
