Today we had the cutest visit to Nathan’s Farm in Chalfont St Giles as there were baby animals everywhere! Nathan’s Farm is a small family run farm with reindeer, sheep, chickens, pigs, goats and rhea, to name a few. At the moment there are loads of lambs on the farm which you can help bottle feed! Plus tiny piglets, puppies, chicks and a foal that was only a few days old.
Following on from the list of places to visit in August, I’ve put together even more ideas for days out in and around Bucks. The guide includes places that have reopened their doors this month, brand new activities, plenty of indoor options for rainy days and a few others that I think you’ll love.
Yesterday we visited the Bucks Goat Centre for this first time and had such a great morning! It’s perfect for a spontaneous trip out as you don’t have to book tickets in advance, which at the moment is rare.
Chobham Adventure Farm is all about the ADVENTURE! Whilst they do have a animal barn for us the main attractions were the play zones. They have two large adventure playgrounds for different ages, two giant jumping pillows (again for different ages) and a huge sandpit.
We’ve made several visits to Copas Farms PYO in Cookham this year. It’s one of our go-to days out for when the sun is shining and we haven’t got anything else booked. We have had mixed experiences with it recently, so would try to avoid peak times on our next visit.
