Today we visited a real hidden gem, Connexions Cafe in Princes Risborough. The cafe in Elim Church opened just 4 months ago having undergone a refurbishment. They’ve added a lovely kids play area and brunch menu to the modern looking café.
Connexions Cafe
The cafe at Elim Church has lovely decor, big comfy sofas and tables with loads of space around them making it great if you have buggies. There’s also free parking outside.
Opening Times
Connextions cafe is currently open Tuesday – Saturday from 09.30am to 1pm.
They are hoping to extend their opening times to at least 2pm, but require more volunteers to be able to do this. All of the staff, with the exception of the chef, are volunteers here.
Play Area
They have a really cute wooden play area with a kitchen area, car and wendy house. You can easily sit at your table enjoying your coffee and still be able to keep an eye on your little ones playing.
The Food
They serve a brunch menu at Connexions Cafe and wow the food is great! It’s all cooked fresh to order and the ingredients you can tell are really great quality. It is worth keeping in mind that there is just one chef, so if it’s busy then be prepared to wait a little while for your food.
I had the smashed avocado on sourdough toast with chorizo and poached eggs and it was so good! Ashley had the kids pancakes with maple syrup and bananas and they were great too. Our friends had the adult and kids full breakfast and also rated them highly.
It’s all really good value too. Check out the Connexions Cafe menu below.
